EPTA-SF - Electronic Positon and Taillight and Anti Collision Light - FAR23

Intelligent Synchronization

ERB-SF

Combination of position light, taillight and anti collision light

The EPTA-SF is the advancement of EPTA and impresses through its enormous even higher brightness. The EPTA-SF exceeds the requirements of FAR 23 by far.

The Thiesen EPTA-SF will be mounted on the wingtips and is a combination of position light, tail-light and anti-collision light. Similar to the Thiesen EPL shape three aircraft lights are arranged in one position lamp. In addition to the functionality EPL (Electronic Position Light - red / green) it includes a tail-light (EPL Taillight) and an anti-collision light (ACL). The weight of EPTA-SF is <80 grams.

Again, the built-in ACL in the EPTA-SF is prepared for the intelligent synchronization.

The EPTA-SF is embedded together with its integrated entire control element in high-optic, scratchresistant plastic module.

The high-performance LEDs produce a brilliant green and red light.

The wingtip lights are pre-wired for easy connection to a four-wire cable with at least 1.0 mm² conductor cross section. Easy installation by a central screw and additional gluing with silicone. Installation instructions and the shrink tubing required for assembly are included in the EPL.

Intelligent Synchronization

The integration of our well proven Intelligent Synchronization allowes a chronological sequence of power consumption for the connected anti collision lights and prevents battery and generator from becoming overloaded.
