ERB-H - Electronic Rotating Beacon - Heli

The ERB for helicopters.

Due to continuous development of our ERB, a ruggedized version for helicopter is now available: the ERB-H. The ERB-H is also applicable for airplanes and powered gliders. An LTA for the powered glider Scheibe-Falke SF25 C is already in preparation.

With the ERB-H we now can offer an ACL in LED-Technology which allows a longer lifetime and less weight at same brilliancy compared to a conventional xenon-flash-based ACL.

As a matter of course it is water and seawater resistant like all of our LED-positionlights / ACLs. As well as the ERB, the ERB-H is cast in a high-optic and scratch-resistant plastic module. The entire control element is integrated into the ERB-H - therefore no "Blackbox" is needed. The required mounting space is determined by the size of the ERB-H only.

Our ERB and ERB-H are worldwide the first ACL in LED-Technology which accords to the FAR23 regulations. Thus, the manufacturer of experimental aircrafts have also an alternative to conventional xenon-flash.

The light is prewired to allow easy connection to a 2-lead cable of minimum 1.5 mm² cross section. It is intended to be mounted with a flange and silicon-sealing at the tailboom or the rudder. An instructions manual and the shrink tubing required for the assembly are included in the ERB-H package.
